Here was the process of creating the CGI marketing content for byEllie's lip balm rebrand.

Marketing Content
This was my first CGI project and one I really enjoyed, Ellie was fantastic to work with and really helpful throughout. The concept was to create a CGI video featuring the rebrand of byEllie's Lip Balm featuring a new 'Brown Sugar' flavour. I hopped on a call with Ellie to talk about some ideas to ensure we were on the same page, then after a day of filming around London we refined the idea further until we got our final concept.
3D MODELING
The lip balm was modelled from scratch on Blender and split into three parts so it could be disassembled for animations. The mouthpiece was a challenging shape but I managed to get there with a combination of Booleans and conventional modelling.
VFX & VIDEO EDITING
The final video was taken on Oxford Circus using a construction site to drive the concept of 'building' the rebranded lip balm. The first step was tracking the camera movement using fSpy then exporting the data to GeoTracker [a blender plug-in]. I then added the CGI in sections and composited them all together in Adobe After Effects. By adding some zoom in the video editing phase I could create more focus on the products and animations.

I also created some product photos for the website.
